Will Humphrey
Principal
Will Humphrey has over twenty five years of broad real estate experience including development, investment, transactions, strategic consulting and design on projects ranging from corporate and institutional campuses and mixed-use town centers to residential land development and land conservation.
He has worked with some of the most respected organizations in the country, where he has held senior leadership and management positions on numerous complex and large-scale projects, and established a record of successful working relationships with sophisticated clients, consultants and communities.
As a Senior Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle (LaSalle Partners), his practice responsibilities included strategic land advisory and national land acquisition assignments. Clients included corporations, developers and institutional investors, and projects included major corporate campuses and residential developments.
For The Conservation Fund, a top national land conservation organization, he served as the Illinois Director and led the office’s sustainable development, land acquisition, financing, and advisory activities.
Working with developer and investor WS Land Partners as a Senior Vice President, he led project teams responsible for the acquisition, master planning and securing of entitlements for large residential and mixed-use land developments incorporating sustainable planning concepts and land conservation.
He began his career working in development and architecture with Sinco Investments in Colorado and Field Paoli in California, involved with infill redevelopments, mixed-use, town center, office and residential projects.
Mr. Humphrey holds a Master of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design/Architecture degree from the College of Architecture and Planning, University of Colorado. He is a licensed Architect and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He has participated on numerous panels, been a guest real estate lecturer at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a contributor to publications about sustainable development and conservation planning.
He lives with his wife and three sons in Lake Forest, Illinois.
